Definitions :

  • To see a particular VM marked as operational, it should at least be 'phoning home' to the http://goc.vpac.org
  • User Auth means that local users can use the tool that maps their local logon user name to thier DN Certificate name. Therefore they can potentially run jobs at that site as themselves.
  • Usage Reports means that the clusters involved are sending usage information to the Grid Operations Centre.
  • Jobs Queued means that local issues that relate to connecting Globus and GRAMS to PBS (or what ever) are solved and demonstrated.
