Other applications that will be supported by the Grid

There are other applications that don't have portal interfaces which need to be 'gridified'. To grid enable these applications, site admins need to do two things:

1. create a module for these applications
2. make the information about these applications available in their local MDS installs. This would involve updating the APAC software map entry for the applications and adding the extra information in the SIP config file that the APAC software map doesn't provide. The APAC software map doesn't provide software executable information so information about the executables should be manually added in the SIP config file.
