About testing and monitoring of ARCS data services

Testing and monitoring of all ARCS data services is important to ensure that the services remain available and reliable. It also helps in optimising their performance.

The INCA test framework is being used to conduct tests of certain data services. Failed tests automatically raise tickets with the RT (Request Tracker).

There are also some data transfer performance tests being carried out regularly. See http://info.apac.edu.au/datagrid.php?

Status

At the moment only GridFTP and ILDG functionality is being tested.

See here for the results of the current INCA tests.

More data tests are under development.
